Hey friend.

Um, you know that thing…the dream or desire you always wanted for yourself?

Maybe you started it, but pushed it aside because life got in the way.

Or you buried it because you didn’t think your parents, friends, partner, or ______ (fill in the blank) would approve.

It’s time dammit.

I see this phrase all the time – “You’re never too old, and it’s never too late.” 🧐

I get it, and it’s great motivation, but your life on earth is finite, unpredictable, and precious, so at some point, it WILL be too late.

So how much longer are you willing to wait? If you take Lady Time for granted, you’re playing a risky game.

Do it. Do it while you have your health, and mobility.

Say it while your parents are alive, and your kids are close by.

Make concrete plans while you have options, and the possibilities are still wide open.

In the book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware, the most common regret is-

“I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

On her website, she writes –

“When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.”

I return to the book a couple of times a year as a reminder that time is abundant…until it’s not.

So starting today:

👐 Find a way

👏 Don’t put limits on your capacity

🤜 Fight the resistance

☝️ Be intentional

👉 Create discipline

😊 And be happy
